PFI, Inc. Background

PFI Inc. was formed in 2003 by John Pride and Mickey Fowler. John Pride, a retired Los Angeles Police Detective, also worked as a Forensic Firearms Expert and Bomb Technician with the Bomb Squad. A renowned competitive shooter he has won 20 major matches throughout the world. Mickey Fowler was co-owner of International Shootists, a firearms training school, and is internationally known as a top notch firearms instructor. Also a renowned competitive action shooter, he is a 4-time Bianchi Cup winner and a one-time Steel Challenge champion.

Throughout their 25 year shooting career, both men were sponsored by various scope companies and decided to create their own line of rifle and pistol scopes, including reflex sights and long range ballistic reticles. Though many scope companies have produced hold-over type scope reticles, including mil-dot and ballistic hold-over reticles, none had offered a reticle that was simple to use, making it easy for all rifle shooters to shoot accurately from close range to far, by simply lining up the numbers and firing. The ?Rapid Reticle? as the scope line was aptly named, is truly designed by shooters, for shooters. There are military Airborne Sniper units that won?t use anything else on their M-14?s because of the simplicity and force multiplier that this scope line offers.
