John Pride

• Vietnam veteran and retired LAPD detective John Pride is a four-time NRA Bianchi Cup Champion and winner of the 2006 NRA National Police Distinguished Semi-Automatic Police Championship, and is a Bianchi Cup World Champion.

• He also finished in second place in the 2006 NRA National Police President's 100 Championship, and has been #1 in the California Police Governor's 20 more than 15 times, currently ranking as #1 in the California Governor's 20.

• Co-founder of the Beverly Hills Gun Club, Pride has instructed firearms safety and tactics to civilians and law enforcement officials, and currently works in the ballistic labs and bomb squad of the LAPD.

• Also a Product Line Specialist – International for Safariland (AHI, Inc.) he specializes in transitional training for agencies as they change their holsters and has been a member of Team Safariland for over 20 years.

• In his 25 years of competitive shooting, Pride has won more than 320 state matches and more than 42 gold, 15 silver and 12 bronze medals in the Police Olympics and International Police Olympics, while also holding three world records in police and action shooting.
