Currently serving as the Director of Product Development and Marketing for Safariland Duty Gear, Scott Carnahan has been manager of Team Safariland since its inception in 1985 and has been with Safariland for more than 30 years.

Additionally, he stays involved in field activities by working with LE agencies nationwide in transitional holster training for their officers.

As a top 16 finisher at the USPSA Nationals, a two-time USPSA National Class Champion and the former So-Cal Regional USPSA Champion, Carnahan is a member of the USPSA Master Class.

Carnahan has extensive expertise in the sport-shooting arena, applying his knowledge and skills to the development of the most advanced products and materials for Safariland.

Carnahan is a two-time runner up in the Steel Challenge Shotgun Event, and is a board member of the California Peace Officer’s Association (CPOA) and the Business Law Enforcement Alliance (BLEA).

Carnahan has traveled throughout the US and Europe conducting training classes to Law Enforcement, SWAT and military special ops customers, while also being a former competitive golfer, water skier, motocross and go-kart racer.
