  Tom Campbell

  • Tom Campbell – or "Tommy Gun" – has been with Safariland for more than 17 years, and is currently the Eastern Product Line Specialist for the brand, specializing in transitional holster training for LE agencies.

  • Before that, he spent more than 22 years in R&D and marketing for Smith & Wesson.

  • Campbell is known for his instrumental involvement in the development and introduction of the .40 S&W cartridge.

  • Having spent more than 39 years in law enforcement and as a competitive shooter, Campbell has shot 25 Bianchi Cup matches and 27 IPSC/USPSA national matches in a row throughout his lifetime.

  • A 2001 USPSA Limited 10 National Champion, Campbell was a member of the USPSA Shooting Team from 1977-1989, serving as Team Captain in 1986, and is USPSA Life Member #5.

  • He's been a member of Team Safariland since 1987 and has traveled to more than 60 countries to shoot and teach firearms instruction.
